We were asked to assess our outcomes and self scores from unit 3 and 10. My scores are as follows
Physical Wellness: In unit 3 I scored my self a 6 out of 10. Since then I have recently scored myself a 7 out of 10. Just recently I became the member of the week in my gym and have lost 8.5lbs and 17lbs of fat. This has been a life changing time for me and I feel great. I have made some real big changes in my physical well being and plain on continuing my diet and workout.
Psychological Wellness: In unit 3 I realized that my psychological wellness has been the best it has ever been and that attitude continues even today. I have made it a point to view everyday as a blessing and look at my day as the glass being half full instead of half empty.
Spiritual Wellness: In unit 3 I scored myself a 4 or 5. This score still remained the same in unit 10 with a score of 4. This continues to be a struggle but I have realized that I have a stronger faith than what I thought I did. By becoming more aware of my daily activities I have realized that I find myself thanking God everyday for all the blessings I have. I also find myself feeling extremely blessed for my son and my family. I have also found myself praying I just never took the time to realize how much I do. By becoming more aware of myself I have realized how strong my faith really is and I know it can always be improved but I am happy with what I have accomplished.
Thank you to the Professor and my classmates for all the wonderful posts and great ideas. You all have been wonderful and wish you all the best in your futures=)
Great job, I am glad to hear that your physical and Psychological Wellness have gotten better throughot the course. Congrats on losing 8.5 lbs. That is awesome. Keep up the good work. Good luck in your future classes and everything else you do in life. Take care
ReplyDeleteMonica,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 8.5 lbs and 17 lbs of fat! That is no minor accomplishment so way to go!
As far as your other two scores staying the same, you at least now have the assessment you can do regularly and make sure that you stay on course for all of your personal goals.
Do you feel that even though your "numbers" on the scale of 1-10 stayed the same you feel any different than you did 7 weeks ago?
Best of luck to you in the future!
congrats on losing weight! That's awesome! I have found that I have taken more of a physiologic view that you have and I love it! I can now see each day as a blessing (it's still a work in progress for me but it is at least progress!) Thanks for sharing all your stories with us and best of luck to you!
